TRAINING
We pride ourselves offering at least level 1 coaching standards across the club. If you have never trained with us before we run open sessions on the schedules below. For new players, please do let us know if you plan on attending your first training session.
Summer and Spring training sessions will take place at our Upper Up Playing fields in South Cerney, followed by winter training at Cirencester Town Football club.

WHAT TO WEAR – We provide Training Jackets to all our members when they sign on. Underneath, there's no uniform here, so your child can wear what they want within reason. Wear lots when its cold and less when its warm. If you want your child to wear South Cerney Youth training clothing (where you can add initials etc) you can order them here.
FOOTWEAR – Ideally football boots or astroturf trainers for the summer sessions as the ground is very hard. When we train in the winter on a 4G pitch they must only wear moulded football boots and they have to be super clean - no mud whatsoever. Good practice to get your kids to clean them.
SHIN PADS – Mandatory for all age groups - NO EXCEPTIONS. No micro shin pads, please – proper protection is required or players won’t be able to train.
DRINK – Bring water or squash to stay hydrated. There’s a tap at the clubhouse for refills, but having your own bottle helps keep things running smoothly.
