NEW COMMITTEE

South Cerney Youth Football Club has welcomed a new executive committee. The new committee has already begun reshaping the future of our club with a professional and enthusiastic approach.

Chris Hanks our new Chair has amassed experience all across the business world and currently holds a Head of Governers at our local primary school. Chris' knowledge and expertise is invaluable whilst we transition into this new phase.

Rob Smith and Allan Dore are our new secretaries. Partners in crime to aid the club towards a more organised establishment. Their roles are vital for all communications towards the leagues and parents alike. Any enquiries (good or bad) will be handled by these two lovely gentlemen.

Ellie Hanks has taken the role of Treasurer. Working in a local accountancy firm Ellie has the skills and knowledge to handle all monetary issues within the club. Ellie has expressed her desire to get the club into an automated and cashless culture so its easier to manage all ins and outs financially.

Heather Messenger holds our most important role of Safeguarding Officer. Heather's enthusiasm has already whipped the club into shape regarding our safeguarding policies, plus making sure everyone looking after the children is properly trained and informed.

Kev Messenger has the job of keeping our club out of trouble with regards to discipline of players, parents and oppositions. Working closely with our safeguarding officer, the club can maintain a high standard of discipline throughout.

Allyn Peacock isn't going anywhere. After a few years of Allyn doing almost everything for the club he's still a valued member of the club and his level of coaching qualifications is forever impressive. Al remains as our Director of Football aiding all age groups, finding new players and building a culture across the club.

Debbie Walton is using her talents to be our head of Fundraising. She'll work her magic to raise money for the club, organise events such as BBQ's, Tournaments and Club days. Any enquiries from sponsors should contact Debbie.
